Like them or loathe them you can’t deny that for decades these were one of Newry’s biggest landmarks. I’m surprised there’s no photos of them on the interweb (same goes for Derry’s Rossville Flats- they were massive and yet virtually no one thought to take a few pics before they were tore down). I think the North Street blocks may have been one of a kind for Northern Ireland- a one off design. Does anyone have any photos of them, or at the very least know when the dates they were built and demolished so I can hunt down pictures in old newspapers.
