Nature confused
Here we see the “Walkers Line” at the Sacred Heart/St Ronan’s Schools lined with the daffodils planted in memory of Mrs Goss – in full bloom, and it is still February.
My neighbour’s Camilla bush goes one better. Already it is shedding some of its blooms. Let’s hope we don’t now get a sharp frost to kill all these lovely blooms!

Smiling Epidemic breaks out ..
Most people, like me don’t start off the morning well, especially Monday morning. I was feeling pretty down myself, with good reason, as I went into B&Q for paint.
Newly Confirmed – lists
Among the newly confirmed in the faith on Saturday last at Newry Cathedral was my grand-daughter Niamh. In addition to the two St Ronan’s classes there was a Ballyholland class of Mr Shields (listed first below).
Pope’s Letter in full
Not all of this letter was read at Mass yesterday to the faithful attending. In addition all deserve the chance to analyse in full the Papal response to the present crisis of abusing priests and religious.
